White contour memory foam pillow
$54.99
A full size white contour pillow with a hollow for your head and shaped spaces on both sides where you can rest a hand or forearm. Turn it around to try its higher or lower edge.
Overview
The white pillow measures 23.6 × 13.8 in and reaches up to 4.5 in high. One long edge is higher than the other, so you can turn it around to change the height.
These are the maker's listed measurements.
Materials
Memory foam core with a removable zip off cooling fabric cover.
Care
Wash the cover in the machine. The foam core cannot be washed, so air it out and spot clean it.

A place to rest your arms on both sides
The shaped side areas give your hands or forearms a place to rest. The numbered points show both spots and the other contours of the white pillow.
-
Hollow middle
The dip where the back of your head goes when you're on your back.
-
Raised wings
Higher than the middle. Turn onto your side and your head lands on one.
-
Left arm resting area
A shaped spot where you can rest your hand or forearm.
-
Right arm resting area
A matching spot on the other side for your hand or forearm.
-
Front edge
The curved edge that sits under your neck.
See the side arm rest in use
While lying on your side, rest a hand or forearm on the shaped area beside your head. The white pillow has a matching space on the other side.

Rest a hand or forearm
The shaped outer side gives your hand or forearm a place to rest beside your head.
Use either side
The shape map above shows the matching area on the other side.
How people sleep on it
Shown in White. Gray and Black are available in the color choices above. Details on this page describe the White option.

On your back
Your head settles into the dip in the middle.

On your side
Roll onto one of the raised wings. It's higher than the middle, so your neck isn't left hanging.

On your stomach
The maker lists it for stomach sleepers too. Start with the lower edge.
Two edge heights

Higher edge
More lift under your neck. A good place to start if you sleep on your side.

Lower edge
Turn the pillow around to try the lower edge.
Your head stays in the middle
The hollow holds the back of your head, the raised sides keep it from rolling off, and the edge fills the space under your neck. Not propped up, not dropped back, not sliding to one side.

In the middle, not off to the side
The hollow holds the back of your head and the raised sides keep it from drifting to one side.
Not too high, not too low
The edge under your neck fills the gap, so your head isn't propped up or left to drop back.

A cool touch cover
The removable cooling fabric cover feels cool to the touch and can be machine washed.

Cool to the touch
The ice-silk cover feels cool against your skin when you lie down.
Lets heat out
The fabric is made to breathe, so warmth doesn't build up under your head.
Easy to keep fresh
Zip the cover off and put it in the machine.

Next to a regular pillow
What the shape changes, drawn simply.
On your back
Your head settles into the hollow and the front edge sits under your neck.
Your head sits on top, which can leave a gap under your neck.
On your side
The wings are higher than the middle, so turning over lifts your head a little.
The same height all the way across, whichever way you turn.
Simplified drawings, not to scale. The dashed line follows head, neck and shoulders. They show the shape, not a medical result.
The first few nights
A new shape takes getting used to. Here's what to expect, and what to do if it isn't right.
-
Night 1
It feels different
Firmer and more shaped than a regular pillow. That's normal for contoured memory foam.
-
Nights 2 to 3
Move it, not you
Pull it closer to your shoulders so the front edge sits under your neck. Try the other edge to change the height.
-
Week 2
A fair test
By now you've slept on your back and on both sides. You'll know if the height suits you.
-
Day 30
Last day to start a return

About The Cradle
What makes The Cradle different?
The hollow center and raised wings make room for different positions. Its two edge heights let you turn the white pillow around to try a different fit.
How high is it?
The maker lists it as up to 4.5 in high, with a higher and a lower long edge.
Does the cover come off?
Yes. The white cover zips off and can be machine washed.
Will I sleep hot on it?
Memory foam tends to hold more warmth than a fiber-filled pillow. If you sleep very hot, keep that in mind before you buy.
Can I wash the foam?
No. Only the cover is washable. Let the foam air out and spot clean it if you need to.
Is it a medical product?
No. It's a pillow, not a medical device, and it isn't meant to treat anything. If your neck hurts regularly, see a doctor or physical therapist.
